In the second quarter of 2025, the shooter game category on a unified platform in Kenya saw varied performances among the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

FPS Strike Ops : Modern Arena from FPS Shooter & Action Game recorded a significant decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 22.9K at the end of March to approximately 9.3K by the end of June. Despite this drop, weekly active users increased steadily, peaking at around 138.1K. Revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of $38 in early April and closing the quarter at $5.

Free Fire x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN experienced a downward trend in weekly downloads, dropping from 13.3K to 4.3K. However, the game maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, with a slight increase from $1.2K to $1.1K. Active users fluctuated, beginning at 68.4K and ending at 76.9K.

PUBG MOBILE by Level Infinite saw weekly downloads fluctuate, reaching a high of 11.2K in late June. Revenue showed a general decline, with earnings starting at $4.6K and dipping to $2.3K. Active users peaked at 123.5K in April before declining to 97.4K by the end of the quarter.

Shoot Out: Gun Shooting Games from Freeplay Inc noted a decrease in downloads, from 11.4K to 10K. Despite this, weekly active users increased from 28.6K to 41.8K. Revenue remained relatively stable, fluctuating around $20 throughout the quarter.
